Atty. Assoc. Prof. Pınar Altınok ORMANCI graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2003. She completed her master’s degree in private international law and international commercial law at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University as a Jean Monnet Scholar and earned her doctorate at Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences. In 2018, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Civil Law.

Altınok Ormancı has conducted extensive academic research in areas such as Civil Law, Obligations Law, Construction Law, Contract Law, Real Estate Law, and Family Law. She is the author of two books, 'Termination of Continuous Obligations for Just Cause' and 'The Duty to Mitigate Damages.' Her scholarly contributions include national and international articles, books, and book chapters written in Turkish, French, and English across various fields of Civil Law. Ormancı has presented papers at numerous symposia both in Turkey and abroad. From 2021 to 2023, she served as a consultant for the project titled'Improving the Effectiveness of Family Courts: Better Protection of the Rights of Family Members.' , organized jointly by the European Union and Council of Europe.

Altınok Ormancı conducted academic research at the Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne, Switzerland, for three months in both 2009 and 2015, and at the Center for Private Law at the University of Strasbourg in 2023 for another three months. Currently, she serves as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Law at Bilkent University Faculty of Law, where she teaches courses including Special Provisions of Obligations Law, Construction Law, Business Law, and Family Law. Additionally, Altınok Ormancı is a board member of the Tevfik Fikret Education Foundation.
