Ceren \u00dcnal studied law at Ankara University, later earning an LLM in Computer and Communications Law from Queen Mary, University of London, as a British Chevening Scholar. Her deep interest in technology and its intersection with law has driven her career since 2002, where she has continuously engaged in teaching and consulting on IT and Internet law.<\/span><\/p>

Ceren advises both local and international clients on a wide range of legal issues, including data protection, intellectual property, Internet governance, and regulatory compliance. She regularly provides strategic legal counsel to businesses navigating the evolving legal landscape of the digital economy. \nThroughout her career, Ceren has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and has been a guest lecturer on IT law and policy at various universities. She is qualified as an Attorney-at-Law, a national Patent & Trademark Attorney, and a European Patent Attorney.<\/span><\/p>

Prior to co-founding Usluel | \u00dcnal | \u00d6zbilen, Ceren held the position of Senior Regional Policy Manager for Europe at the Internet Society, focusing on critical Internet policy issues such as encryption, exceptional access, regulation, competition policy, and online privacy. In addition to her policy work, she established Wootlex, an IT Law & Policy consultancy, and lectured on Internet Law at Bilkent University.<\/span><\/p>

Concurrently, she serves as the Vice President and General Counsel of Digital Goes Green, a Brussels-based NGO dedicated to bridging digital transformation with environmental sustainability, and chairs the Internet Society Turkey Chapter, where she continues to contribute to key policy dialogues shaping the future of the Internet and writes articles on technology policy for the turk-internet.com news portal, sharing her expertise with a broader audience.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
