Prof. Dr. Asl\u0131 E. G\u00fcrb\u00fcz Usluel is an internationally recognized academic and legal expert specializing in commercial law. She has provided numerous legal opinions, acted as an expert witness, served as an arbitrator, and advised international corporations. Beginning her legal career at Ankara University Faculty of Law, she furthered her expertise by completing a master\u2019s degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam and earning her doctorate from Ankara University Social Sciences Institute. She has conducted academic research at prestigious institutions such as the Max Planck Institute in Germany and the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Switzerland.<\/p>

Her areas of expertise include corporate law (mergers and acquisitions, corporate groups, shareholders agreement, share transfer agreements, family constitutions, drafting corporate contracts, corporate governance, joint venture agreements, cooperatives, and trade secrets), sustainability (environmental, social, and governance issues), and negotiable instruments law. She has made significant academic contributions by publishing numerous articles, books, and conference papers at both national and international levels. \u201c<\/em>Currently, she is the principal coordinator of the T\u00dcB\u0130TAK-funded project titled \u201cThe Legal Dimension of Due Diligence in Sustainable Supply Chains within the Framework of Green and Digital Transformation\".<\/p>

As a professor at Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Law, Dr. Usluel has enriched her academic career by serving in key roles, including as an advisor and committee member for the Ministry of Justice Mediation Department. She has conducted pioneering work on topics such as dispute resolution in international joint venture agreements, shareholders' dividend rights in joint-stock companies, the protection of trade secrets, European green bonds, and the institutionalization of family businesses.<\/p>

Prof. Dr. Usluel combines her academic expertise, international experience, and multidisciplinary approach to make a lasting impact both in academia and legal practice.
